Additional information

Julian Nöhl studied mechanical engineering with a specialization in chemical engineering at RWTH Aachen University in Aachen, Germany. He graduated with his master's degree from RWTH Aachen University in 2022.

In his master’s thesis, Julian worked on the techno-economic analysis of a biorefinery process for the flexible production of gamma-valerolactone and 1,4-pentanediol at the Process Systems Engineering Group at RWTH Aachen under the supervision of Professor Alexander Mitsos.

In 2022, Julian joined the Energy and Process Systems Engineering (EPSE) Group as a doctoral student. His research focuses on the prospective/predictive environmental impact assessment of carbon capture, transport, and storage (CCTS) technologies.
