EPSE Retreat, Tschamut, September 2024
Our research at EPSE organized in two dimensions: by scale and by technology covered.
We develop carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies bridging the scales from capture material development to a holistic technology assessment.
We aim to shape a circular chemical industry focussing on carbon capture and utilization, polymer recycling, and biomass utilization.
We analyze the potential energy conversion and storage technologies across multiple scales.
Our dear EPSE colleague Tim Langhorst succesfully defended his Ph.D. thesis.
Marvin Volkmer and Jan-Frederic Laub are joining the group!
On 10th of December a group from BASF visited us to discuss and exchange about the challenges in the chemical industry.
Maria Lukatskaya, Professor of Electrochemical Energy Systems, and André Bardow, Professor for Energy and Process Systems Engineering, have both been recognized as Highly Cited Researchers in 2024 by global information service provider Clarivate.
