Philipp Rehner has been appointed Assistant Professor of Molecular Engineering Thermodynamics at D-MAVT. Since 2021, the 32-year-old has been a member of the Energy and Process Systems Engineering Group at ETH Zurich, where he specialized in computational thermodynamic models. In his lab, he will focus on researching how chemical production processes can be made more efficient and sustainable – a contribution to the energy transition and the implementation of renewable technologies.
