Christoph Alexander Busch

Christoph Busch studied mechanical and process engineering at Technical University (TU) Darmstadt, Germany, and EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. He focused on thermo-fluiddynamics, optimization, and energy engineering during his studies. He graduated with his master's degree from TU Darmstadt in 2022.

During his studies, Christoph worked as a student assistant on the resilience enhancement of water distribution networks with mathematical optimization. He earned his master's degree with a thesis about the simulation of combusting iron particle clouds.

In November 2022, Christoph joined the Energy and Process Systems Engineering group as a PhD student to work on the further development of the automated thermodynamics lab.
